The Real Holy Days we are to honour and....how they are not only for the "Jewish" who follow Christ ;)
If
unsure that Jesus wanted us to continue to honour these days, one
only needs to refer to scripture and follow Jesus' example. He taught
these Holy days to the people and to his disciples so they
would continue to teach and honour these days until the days of his
return. Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy BUT TO FULFIL"
There are 7 Holy Days we are to honour listed in the bible. Leviticus 23 lists all of Gods appointed times.
God's plan for mankind is fully revealed through annual observances. He gave us appointed times for us to keep with Him.
Feast of Tabernacles is the final observance and this feast lasts 8 days ending with The Last Great day which is also an annual Sabbath. This year it will be Thursday September 19, 2013- Friday September 27, 2013. A CELEBRATION The first day shall be a sabbath you shall do no servile work and on the eight day is a sabbath and no servile work to be done. Leviticus 23:41"And ye shall keep it a feast seven days unto the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations; ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month" This
Feast pictures the time when God will rule the Kingdom on Earth for
1000 years. In the final 1000 years everyone will live under Gods rule.
Revelation 20 speaks of this time which begins immediately after the return of Jesus as the King of Kings. When Jesus returns there will only be one religion,
one government. Everyone will keep the 7th day Sabbath and the annual
Holy days as we should have all along.
THE LAST GREAT DAYor the Great Throne Judgement. The 7th and last annual Sabbath This day represents a time of great judgement that follows the 7000 yr portion of Gods plan. After Christs 1000 year reign on earth, Satan will be released from his binding for a mere 100 years. At this point he and the billions WHO DEFIED GOD will be resurrected and will have one final chance to repent of their sins. Scriptures prove their pride is still poisoning them inside and Satan and his followers will try one last time to rise up against God. Revelation 20:11-15. Something I didn't process at first and is probably overlooked frequently ;This gathering of unbelievers or false worshipers may also include some of the people who were born in the 1000 year reign as well. We do have to keep in mind that although Jesus will be ruling his kingdom down here on earth at this time that everyone will still have free will and that scripture is very clear that your name can be removed from the Book of Life just as it was added. This is more or less a final cleansing process as God simply wants only the true and faithful elect. This day ends in JUDGEMENT for all those who defied God throughout their lifetimes. All of their sins will flash before them and the reasons why they are not allowed into the Kingdom of God for all eternity will be made very clear!! No one will wonder if an error has been made. The Faithful in Christ will live for eternity without pain, war, disease, sorrow or EVIL in any form!
So please join me and my family in honouring these Sabbaths the Lord has commanded we observe and HONOUR THE LORD OUR SAVIOUR with all your heart xoxoxox
WHAT A WONDERFUL THING TO LOOK FORWARD TO XOXOXOXOXOX
Paul said in Colossians 2:16-17 that these festivals and celebrations
were actually a shadow of the things to come through Christ. And though Christians may not commemorate these holidays in the traditional
biblical sense we should be so that we can discover the significance of each, certainly gain a greater knowledge of God's Word, an improved
understanding of the Bible, and a deeper relationship with the Lord.
It is important to NOTE**You will never
see the word Christmas in the bible. It mentions gifts were brought at
the actual birth to celebrate that the Saviour had arrived but never
gives an exact date of his birth. This makes it very clear that we are
not to celebrate Jesus' birthday every year. You will also notice
that the bible doesn't say anything about celebrating birthdays at
all. It was the Romans and Greeks celebrating pagan traditions that
created a day of celebrating that is all about us! Even Easter is not
mentioned in the bible as a day to be honoured unless you have the
version that changed the word "Passover" to Easter. Passover is the
correct term ...Easter and its tradition is just not biblical. These
are the TRUE HOLY DAYS GOD WANTS US TO HONOUR Now that you know.....what will you do?
