The Signs of New Age Deception
The first signs of New Age deception come from rejecting Gods words and believing false or counterfeit doctrine. Remember that effective deception takes just enough truth to make it sound believable.
These are things that indicate that it is false doctrine and should make you stop to think whether it is biblical:
Any religion that writes their own doctrines outside of Gods Word is false doctrine and should be avoided.
Anything that tells you that sinning is now an acceptable part of being human should be avoided. This contradicts what Jesus says and will effectively work toward convincing people that there is no need for a Saviour.
Anything that attacks the deity of Christ should also be avoided
Any doctrine that attacks the Virgin birth story should be avoided.
Any organization which promotes the worship of anything other than God or Jesus need be avoided as well. This includes "saints", angels, statues or any person on Earth. We are not to call anyone on Earth "Father" such as our Catholic priests. Pope being 'God on Earth' is not doctrine. Angels themselves rebuked men for bowing before them.
Any religion or organization that says that you can be saved by "Goodness", "Religion", Rituals etc is false doctrine. Jesus says very specifically that we must be born of the Holy spirit or "born again"
"Jesus talked with Nicodemus, He said, “‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’ ‘How can a man be born when he is old?’ Nicodemus asked. ‘Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again”’” (John 3:3-7).
The phrase "born again" literally means "born from above." New birth, being born again, is an act of God where eternal life is given to the person who believes (2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 2:29; 3:9; 4:7; 5:1-4, 18).
John 1:12,13 indicates that "born again" also carries the idea "to become children of God" through trust in the name of Jesus Christ."

Any doctrine that states that the resurrection story is false, not possible or has been predated and carried over as a story from another god should be avoided. These are absolutely false meant to deceive and confuse people with inaccurate timelines in history.
As it is very easy to be deceived in the world of today, it becomes clear to see the BIBLE as the true gift he left us as a reference keep us from falling away. It is truly the only Textbook we ever really needed to learn and live by properly. God Bless
