Pre Tribulation Rapture is False Teaching: what you need to know so you aren't one of the deceived.
First off let's be honest and state very clearly that the word "Rapture" is not used at all in the bible. Sorry if that scares some but it is not in there. This being said He does promise to save his elect or "Believers" so if the word rapture makes you feel better-- Just know that the term itself is not used biblically.
The false teaching of the Pretribulation Rapture is a well known teaching and very popular among Christian denominations. Little known to most is that it is not biblical teaching and it actually comes from a book written by Charles Schofield and is called the Charles Schofield Bible. This book claimed the pre tribulation rapture was gospel even though it is exactly opposite of what God tells us in the bible. Wouldn't we all WANT to believe we get to escape all the trials and tribulations that are prophecied to happen and will occur make no mistake; however wishing doesnt make it fact :)
Lets take a look at a timeline and scripture that proves exactly when Believers will be "Raptured out" and at what part of the Tribulation period
Tribulation starts- famines, pestilences, wars etc but not every person on the planet affected at first necessarily.Followed by Great Tribulation times where things will get bad.Bible scripture states very clearly that the sun is darkened AFTER the Tribulation and also states very clearly that Jesus comes AFTER the sun darkened to gather his people not before. This all helps to confirm that the pretribulation is incorrect teaching.
Let's take a look....
Matthew 24:15-16,21 "And when ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,spoken of by Daniel the prophet,stand in the holy place {whosoever readeth this,let him understand) Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains...21"For then shall be great tribulation such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no nor ever shall be.".... So first the AntiChrist must proclaim himself to be God or Godlike to the public and will force people to worship him and this is when things start getting bad. It will be the sign that the Great tribulation period is to begin
Mark 13:24-27 states "But in those days AFTER the tribulation the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light"25 "and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken 26 and THEN the Son of Man coming by the clouds with great power and glory." as well as Revelation 6:12-14,15,17 "And I beheld when he opened the sixth seal and lo, there was a great earthquake:and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair,and the moon became as blood" And the kings of the earth and the great men and the rich men and chief captains and the mighty men, and every bondman and every free man hid themselves in the dens and the rocks of the mountains: For the great day of his wrath is come"
Confirmed again in scripture in the writings of Matthew Matthew 24:29-31 "Immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven shall be shaken: and THEN shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven:and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."
Since we know that Jesus comes down to lift us out of the troubles and he only comes once 1Thessalonians 4:16-18 confirms a little more with "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with a voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which ARE ALIVE and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words"
This scripture mentions the trumpet judgements occurring at the time to also help out with timeline of Christs return and in turn our salvation.
If there is still any doubt at all ,the final scripture that confirms exactly when his believers will be taken up with him in the clouds is in 1Corinthians 15:51-52 "Behold I shew you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP for the trumpet shall sound and dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed."
Biblical proof : At The Last Trumpet is the actual taking up and away or "rapture" of believers
False teachers will try to point out in scripture where they think it proves that Christians are taken out before any of the trials happen. That is just not scripture
So no one I love will be fooled now and think they were "left behind" as the false teachers would have you believe. You will endure trials but it is up to you whether you want to do it alone or with HIS help and protection. The choice is yours....what do you choose??
***Just as a sidenote, you will notice that I put the "coming in on clouds" in italics to bring to your attention this is also a huge key to not be deceived. Christ appears in the clouds for all eyes to see. If you hear that he is in the mountains or the valleys, the cities or towns, do not believe. EVERY eye will see him coming in on the clouds ....Remember God doesnt make mistakes and he doesn't lie! xo

In 1995, in a 24-page booklet on 18th century pastor Morgan Edwards, evangelist John Bray claimed that Edwards taught a pretrib rapture in his 1788 book titled "Two Academical Exercises...."
Those echoing Bray include Thomas Ice who wrote "Morgan Edwards: Another Pre-Darby Rapturist." Edwards' 1788 work can be found on the internet.
In order to claim that Edwards held to pretrib, candidates for the I-can-find-pretrib-earlier-in-church-history-than-you-can medal - including Bray, Ice, LaHaye, Frank Marotta etc. - have intentionally covered up Edwards' "historicism," his belief that the tribulation had already been going on for hundreds of years. (How can anyone in the tribulation go back in time and look for a pretrib rapture?)
Here's proof of Edwards' historicism and its companion "day-year" theory which can view the 1260 tribulation "days" as "years."
On p. 14 Edwards described the Ottoman Empire (which was then already 400 years old) as the Rev. 13:11 "beast." On p. 20 he defined "Antichrist" as the already 1000-year-old "popery" and the "succession of persons" known as "Popes" - his other Rev. 13 "beast." He necessarily viewed Rev. 13's 1260-day period as 1260 literal years in order to provide enough time for his two "beasts."
On p. 19, while discussing "the ministry of the witnesses" of Rev. 11, he allotted "about 204 years" for their "years to perform" - years impossible to fit into a 3.5-year period!
What about Edwards' rapture? On pp. 21-23 he wrote about "the appearing of the son of man in the clouds, coming to raise the dead saints and change the living, and to catch them up to himself....The signs of Christ's appearing in the clouds will be extraordinary 'wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and famines,' &. (Matth. xxiv. 6-8.)....The signs of his coming, in the heavens will be 'the trump of God [I Thess. 4:16], vapor and smoke, which will darken the sun and moon [Matt. 24:29],'...and also cause those meteors called 'falling stars'....
Right after his combined rapture/advent (!), Edwards said: "And therefore, now, Antichrist...will...counterfeit the preceding wonders in heaven...causing 'fire to come down from heaven'....And that godhead he will now assume, after killing the two witnesses....Now the great persecution of the Jews will begin...for time, times, and half a time...."
Thomas Ice's article on Edwards (listed at start) quoted only the first 27 words in the above quotation which end with "to himself" - and you can see why pretrib defender Ice stopped quoting there! (For an Ice-covered piece, Google "Pretrib Rapture Pride.")
Not only had most of Edwards' historicist tribulation occurred before his combined rapture/advent, but incredibly his Antichrist kept raging for 3.5 years even after the Matt. 24 signs! No wonder his tutor advised him to correct his thesis!

In a recent dream of mine I saw things that even John Bunyan didn't dream about in his "Pilgrim's Progress."
I was walking down a remote dirt road and came by an old store with a sign that said "Second Coming Store - Established in 1830."
I opened the door and spotted the elderly owner standing next to shelves covered with many bottles filled with liquids.
"What are you selling?" I asked.
"Second Coming perfume," he said.
He quickly explained: "Our first and most popular perfume is called 'Rapture.' It doesn't have much substance but smells better than our other perfumes."
"How was 'Rapture' invented?," I asked.
He responded: "Well, the 'gather' in Matt. 24:31 was 'borrowed' in 1830 and when it was quietly transferred to a pretrib setting it became much more fragrant and 'Rapture' became its new name."
I also noticed the other bottled perfumes.
Evidently reading my mind, he explained that after "Rapture" came out in 1830, other perfumers realized they'd have to stretch forward other ingredients found in other parts of the Olivet Discourse in order to make "Rapture" even more acceptable.
His other "Rapture"-supporting perfumes were in bottles labeled "Unknown Day & Hour," "One Taken & the Other Left," "Thief in the Night," and "His Elect" (Olivet Discourse "elect" was originally "Church" but later changed to "Israel").
I wondered why the store owner didn't have some other Olivet Discourse perfumes like "Sun & Moon Darkening," "Falling Heavenly Stars," "Sudden Destruction," and "Jerusalem Touchdown" which could also be placed in a pretrib setting.
He said: "I could never sell the four perfumes you just mentioned!"
I asked: "Why not? They're in the same Discourse."
He blushed and said: "Folks would smell a rat!"
Well, I finally woke up from my dream. If you think my dream was just a dream, then you are dreaming!
