FEAST OF TABERNACLES Sept 19-27, 2013

The Real Holy Days we are to honour and....how they are not only for the "Jewish" who follow Christ ;)

If  unsure that Jesus wanted us to continue to honour these days, one only needs to refer to scripture and follow Jesus' example.  He taught these Holy days to the people and to his disciples so they would continue to teach and honour these days until the days of his return.  Matthew 5:17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy BUT TO FULFIL"

There are 7 Holy Days we are to honour listed in the bible. Leviticus 23 lists all of Gods appointed times.

God's plan for mankind is fully revealed through annual observances. He gave us appointed times for us to keep with Him.

Feast of Tabernacles is the final observance and this feast lasts 8 days ending with The Last Great day which is also an annual SabbathThis year it will be Thursday September 19, 2013- Friday September 27, 2013. A CELEBRATION The first day shall be a sabbath you shall do no servile work and on the eight day is a sabbath and no servile work to be done. Leviticus 23:41"And ye shall keep it a feast seven days unto the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations; ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month" This Feast pictures the time when God will rule the Kingdom on Earth for 1000 years.  In the final 1000 years everyone will live under Gods rule.  Revelation 20 speaks of this time which begins immediately after the return of Jesus as the King of Kings.When Jesus returns there will only be one religion, one government. Everyone will keep the 7th day Sabbath and the annual Holy days as we should have all along.

THE LAST GREAT DAYor the Great Throne Judgement. The 7th and last annual Sabbath This day represents a time of great judgement that follows the 7000 yr portion of Gods plan.  After Christs 1000 year reign on earth, Satan will be released from his binding for a mere 100 years. At this point he and the billions WHO DEFIED GOD will be resurrected and will have one final chance to repent of their sins. Scriptures prove their pride is still poisoning them inside and Satan and his followers will try one last time to rise up against God. Revelation 20:11-15.  Something I didn't process at first and is probably overlooked frequently ;This gathering of unbelievers or false worshipers may also include some of the people who were born in the 1000 year reign as well. We do have to keep in mind that although Jesus will be ruling his kingdom down here on earth at this time that everyone will still have free will and that scripture is very clear that your name can be removed from the Book of Life just as it was added. This is more or less a final cleansing process as God simply wants only the true and faithful elect. This day ends in JUDGEMENT for all those who defied God throughout their lifetimes. All of their sins will flash before them and the reasons why they are not allowed into the Kingdom of God for all eternity will be made very clear!! No one will wonder if an error has been made. The Faithful in Christ will live for eternity without pain, war, disease, sorrow or EVIL in any form!

So please join me and my family in honouring these Sabbaths the Lord has commanded we observe and HONOUR THE LORD OUR SAVIOUR with all your heart xoxoxox

WHAT A WONDERFUL THING TO LOOK FORWARD TO XOXOXOXOXOX
Paul said in Colossians 2:16-17 that these festivals and celebrations were actually a shadow of the things to come through Christ. And though Christians may not commemorate these holidays in the traditional biblical sense we should be so that we can discover the significance of each,certainly gain a greater knowledge of God's Word, an improved understanding of the Bible, and a deeper relationship with the Lord.

It is important to NOTE**You will never see the word Christmas in the bible. It mentions gifts were brought at the actual birth to celebrate that the Saviour had arrived but never gives an exact date of his birth. This makes it very clear that we are not to celebrate Jesus' birthday every year.  You will also notice that the bible doesn't say anything about celebrating birthdays at all.  It was the Romans and Greeks celebrating pagan traditions that created a day of celebrating that is all about us! Even Easter is not mentioned in the bible as a day to be honoured unless you have the version that changed the word "Passover" to Easter. Passover is the correct term ...Easter and its tradition is just not biblical. These are the TRUE HOLY DAYS GOD WANTS US TO HONOUR Now that you know.....what will you do?
 For a full blog on all the Holy Days and how they are to be observed please read my blog titled THE REAL HOLY DAYS WE ARE TO HONOUR

Day of Atonement: Sept 13 Sundown to Sept 14 Sundown

Day of Atonement Day of Atonement -This is the 5th annual Sabbath. Judaism calls this day Yom Kippur and the Roman calendar uses the same name. This year the Day of Atonement is on September 14, 2013 so in present day keeping in mind a Biblical day goes from sundown to sundown The actual day of atonement this year Sept 13th sundown to Sept 14 sundown This day is known as the HOLY OF HOLY DAYS. This is a fasting and a cleansing day. It shall be a command assembly and you shall fast from food and drink. No work that day. It is a day for you to make an atonement before the Lord. A day specifically set aside to ask forgiveness from God for a years worth of sin. For most of all us that is asking for a lot of forgiveness. :)  This includes family and friends, rivals and anyone else you may have a misunderstanding with.  The ultimate goal is to stop sinning all together and to learn to love one another as Jesus loved us....UNCONDITIONALLY  as if we are all blood relatives.  Leviticus 23:26-32. "Afflict your souls" means to fast from food and drink. This Sabbath pictures the atoning process covered from Passover to Trumpets whereby everyone can be reconciled to God and can be more appropriately described as a DIVINE APPOINTMENT.  Although many have been reconciled to God many still  have not. We must repent, come out of sin, be baptized and receive Gods spirit. As we grow spiritually God can transform our way of thinking and bring us into unity with His ways.

A very sweet girl I know and love ; shes actually my sons girlfriend found this scripture and I thought it was perfect for today. God Bless xoxox

Psalm 51

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bath-sheba.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions:
and my sin is ever before me.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned,
and done this evil in thy sight:
that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest,
and be clear when thou judgest.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity;
and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts:
and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean:
wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness;
that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Hide thy face from my sins,
and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence;
and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation;
 and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways;
and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation:
and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips;
and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it:
thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion:
build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
with burnt offering and whole burnt offering:
then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

We society have fallen into the very trap set by Satan

We society have fallen into the very trap set by Satan to get us to break Gods commandments. We have been tricked by Satan and in a big way!!I'm going to give you a different perspective to look at from a different point of view and lets see what you think.

In the last 50 years or so a lot of changes have taken place and been accepted by society. Lets start out as recently as sending women to work under the guise of equal rights. In doing so this step 'toward progress"  took both the man and the woman out of the home for at least 8 hours a day. 8 hours a day that now meant that children would need to be cared for during this time by someone other than a parent. This lead to an increase in daycare as a necessity and resulted in children being raised by someone other than their parent increasing the family income and the bottom line for the ones making the money creating employment from it.  This would however affect the bonding process to some degree and more truly doubled as a way to break up the family unit.  What else happened as a result of women entering the workforce? The governments were able to obtain more taxes as you now have 2 people you can take tax from. It also further opened the door for the public education system where the children are taken out of the home at the age of 5 years old and indoctrinated on a daily basis with what can only be truly recognized as brainwashing techniques that train us what ``success in our world" is.  The ones who simply take orders and follow instruction from memory are the ones who are seen to excel and receive good grades. They are the ones who want to be head of the class or class president.
The ones who either see that there is no real benefit in most things being taught in school or in anyway useful in the real world are either seen as slower learners or attention deficit. Maybe its simply that at the end of the day people have figured out that most if not all employment skills can be taught on the job and the schooling you take to get there has absolutely NOTHING to do with what you will do for your career in most cases.  This now leads me to the money grab called college and university. Don't get me wrong I was bamboozled myself I have a college degree and my Certified Financial Planner exams and am only one 6 hour exam away from my Designation and that is why I feel confident to say this.  We all have access to all the information you pay for in school over the internet. This same information is what is being taught in lecture halls and classrooms for thousands and thousands of dollars.  If you don't know it yet you will soon realize that the system is setup so that in most cases being self taught is not recognized. There are the odd professions where you can challenge the exam without formal schooling however not too many. "That degree is needed", they say! The infamous degree....oh yes....that thing that sits behind my end table at home on the floor collecting dust.... THAT NO ONE  has ever asked me to see. Nothing I learned working as a financial advisor in one of the Big Five Banks

 I learned in my years at school- Not even how to sell mutual funds.  Even though you can pass the exam without really knowing anything about the subject simply by MEMORIZING information and being able to put it to paper or check a box accurately. That's not right. Being licensed to sell something to people who put their trust in you by simply by memorization(passing an exam) is a little naive in MANY fields.

We are taught from a very young age that you are to grow up, go to university or college to start your work career that will afford you a life in this society. Once that is completed we are to buy a house and get married, have children and then continue to work 40 hours plus a week away from our families all so we can buy THINGS and pay for the home we were told we had to have. Of course we all know that these things are never really paid for. The more money we make the more we want so we continue to get credit to afford these things. These things are what then enslave us even further by now forcing us to continue to work 40 plus hours a week. This keeps the family apart and still causes stress amongst families as the cycle never ends.
So because we think we have it all figured out over here....our families are broken, our children are being raised by people other than their parents and as society is showing in many cases WITHOUT moral structure. They are being taught that simply following orders is success and free thinking is frowned upon or worse yet UNPOPULAR and dangerous to speak ALOUD. Our children have been forced into situations of student loans all to come out of school and there be no jobs available for them.
Still think we are making the right decisions today? If not change it.... one person at a time if we have to.  Its not as hard as one would think, you just have to be willing to give up possessions and the longing for them. Realize that everything you need is in God and what he has supplied you.
Your health and a way to stay healthy if you follow his word
Your families and friends RELATIONSHIPS ARE KEY- no one ever asked to see their Porsche or their money when they are exiting this world.
Know that love and helping your neighbour are the PATHS to happiness not money. If we could all just figure this out and act accordingly, our children might just have a fighting chance xoxoxoxo

FEAST OF TRUMPETS Sept 4 Sunset -Sept 5 Sunset

Good afternoon everyone. Almost forgot to blog as a REMINDER : SUNDOWN STARTED ...The Feast of Trumpets (This is referred to as Rosh Hashanah in Judaism) This year falls on September 4, 2013 sunset to September 5, 2103.  It concerns the second coming of Christ not as a lamb but as a King that will rule on earth. Paul talks about the trumpets in 1Thess 4:13-18 and again in 1Corinthians 15:51-52. When the seventh trumpet sounds the dead in Christ will be raised first and then those that are alive will be lifted up to be with Christ in the air. The final Feast of Trumpets will occur on the very last day of the 3.5 years of the Great Tribulation that is about to come on this earth. The day of Gods Great Wrath. On this day God will humble his people by bringing them down to nothing. Millions and millions will die. Revelation 11:14-15 "And the seventh angel sounded and there were great voices in heaven saying The kingdoms of the world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."  The return of Jesus will bring an end to all wars. Man cannot accomplish this on our own. I call that a reason to celebrate :)

THE NEXT HOLY DAY TO HONOUR IS THE Day of Atonement -This is the 5th annual Sabbath. Judaism calls this day Yom Kippur and the Roman calendar uses the same name. This year the Day of Atonement is on September 14, 2013.  This day is known as the HOLY OF HOLY DAYS. Relevance of Current Syria Crisis and Bible

They will invade Syria and the world will eventually if not sooner come to WW3 but make no mistake if you think that this has anything to do with Syria poisoning their people or that we are in anyway trying to help these people.....you need to do more research; and I hope you do before it affects not only your own families but also mine and every other child on this planet ....be informed before you make any decision on where you stand on this situation because it isnt going away and will not be a war just fought on another land like every other war.  Easy to say 'yes lets go to war' when its not your children and wives being dragged out of their homes and raped and tortured by our "honourable soldiers"....this war will come to our borders, maybe not in form of soldiers and bombs(although Im not 100% convinced that isnt possible with the amount of money both the states and Canada owe to China.  They will be on the opposing side remember with far greater technology that we are made aware of) but in forms of starvation and bankruptcies, illness and criminal activity due to a reduction in funding for social programs. This was not a accident ..that is why the government will not help you..if it was over poison then Monsanto wouldn't be allowed to poison our children through our GMO foods. We wouldnt be drugging our children with prescription bandaids that never fix the problem and actually  create others in the future etc... It is GREED and the ruling elite are looking for full control...pretty obvious when you realize that Iraq was instantly put back on the Petro dollar as soon as they overthrew Saddam...Libya same thing...and now its Syrias turn will full intent to instigate Iran. This is being fully controlled by Israel. They want a religious war and claim to work for God. The Bible says differently about these people Be cautious in this area. This Israel my friends is not the "saved Israel" that Christians think God is referring to. The physical Israel we know..Zionist Israel.. is corrupt and calling the shots ...FOLLOW THE MONEY.. thats where it is....And look how it pans out. They claim this is religious and they are right but only because "religions" are a distraction meant to sway people from God not bring them closer. They cause divides and they dont follow God or his teachings...any of those religions!!! It states in the Bible that the tribe of Judah or what we now call the present day Jews held to Gods laws the longest...BUT THAT THEY TOO WERE MISLED and starting being prideful and changing laws etc. God is not a religion he is a relationship and if we read the Bible we would already know exactly how this is going to pan out. He is not going to save Israel either....both sides are in the wrong as the goal is greed power and control!! The truly saved will be ones that can see what is really going on through the smokescreens and who arent misled by the wrong side(aka the upcoming false redeemer) Correct decisions will have to be made and soon! I hope your eyes are open xo
In order to pull that off we are going to need to see something pretty huge have to happen to bring the whole world willing to work together if only for a common cause....how else but something terrifying... WW3 with some heavy devastation to allow the opportunity for a peace treaty perhaps???
Who and Whats really behind the Arab spring? Is it a coincidence that All the countries that wouldn't play ball with the IMF after 911 have all been attacked???.... 8 countries that didnt play ball... Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Syria and Iraq.... Still be to dealt with then would be North Korea, hmm didnt we just have a nuclear threat from them?? wink wink... Cuba which they have tried before and failed... and then finally Iran. Make no mistake....this is by no means coincidence and it is not about HELPING ANYONE but it is foretold, so don't fear....look up and rejoice as salvation is near xoxoxoxo

7th commandment Thou shall not commit adultery

The 7th Commandment Thou shalt not commit adultery. So what is adultery? Adultery according to our dictionary definition is Adultery (anglicised from Latin adulterium) is a term of condemnation used to refer to sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than their spouse. Interpretations of what constitutes adultery vary widely, as do the religious and legal consequences of the acts in question.  But what does the Bible and specifically Jesus say about the subject of adultery.

Exodus 20:14 "Thou shalt not commit adultery"
Leviticus 20:10 "And the man that committeth adultery with his neigbours wife the adulterer and adulteress shall surely be put to death"
Deuteronomy 5:18 "Neither shalt thou commit adultery"
Need another one? Ok how about Ezekiel 16:32 "A wife that committeth adultery which taketh strangers instead of her husband"

I know this is where someone says "but thats Old Testament...that doesn't apply today obviously as Jesus did away with stoning and death for adultery?"
John 8:3-5 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
You are correct Jesus did do away with death and stoning as a form of punishment for adultery and every sin for that matter but he did not abolish the law of adultery and it continuing to be a sin in any way.

Let's take a look at New Testament specifically and what Jesus says in the area of adultery.  Jesus actually takes the commandment and ADDS to it: HE states that not only is the act itself considered adultery but to even look at another with lust is considered adultery as well.
In Matthew 5:27 "thou shalt not commit adultery ; but I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart"  This is not meant to make things harder to follow but put simply, it opens pathways to start sinful behaviour. Have respect for your spouse, for every other human being and for God himself.

Were you aware that Jesus also addressed 'divorce' and 'remarriage' in relation to the topic of adultery? It is often overlooked  in organizational religions and denominations. What does the Bible say in this area?
Matthew 5:32 but I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
Mark 10:11-12 "And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery."
Luke 16:18  "Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery."
These scriptures make it very clear that each person in the marriage is responsible for his/her own actions and one cannot push their sin onto another. Marriage was a covenant that you both made in front of God "in sickness and in health til death due you part" and God takes very seriously. There should be no issues that can't be resolved other than the ones that Jesus specifically lists as acceptable reasons for divorce.

Scriptures also make it very clear there are no differentiating between the sins and that even though you may think that adultery only affects you and your spouse it greatly affects God. Adultery is just as wrong as murder according to Gods standards.

 Matthew 19:18 "He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,"

Luke 18:20  "Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

After reading this scripture thoroughly I have to admit this one stopped me long enough to make me question what I already knew to be true. It was only briefly Thank God xo but nonetheless I questioned the truth for a second. The devil he's a sneaky one! So I did some research in this area to help make it clear for all of us so you aren't temporarily deceived as well. This scripture at first glance made me stop and question....did Jesus Christ, the Chief Apostle (Heb. 3:1), teach ALL of the Ten Commandments? And Did He command His apostles to do the same? Or did he just simply address some commandments as some denominations think? When we look at the first four of the Ten Commandments it is clear that it teaches man how to love God. “You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make unto you any graven image…You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain…Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy” (Ex. 20:3-8).In Matthew 22:37-38, Christ summarized all four of these, saying, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment”  He does however address each of the commandments separately so there is no confusion throughout the biblical cannon.

When Satan tried to tempt Jesus while He fasted in the wilderness, Christ quoted the First Commandment: “Get you behind Me, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve” (Luke 4:8; Matt. 4:10).In John 4:24, Christ was speaking about the Second Commandment when He taught that men cannot use physical objects, images or “aids”—in other words, idols—to worship a spiritual God. God is a Spirit, His followers must are to worship Him in spirit.Paul also taught the Second Commandment in his teachings. “Neither be you idolaters, as were some of them as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play” (I Cor. 10:7).
In Matthew 15:18-19, Christ again teaches against breaking several of God’s commandments, including the third. “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders  adulteries , fornications, thefts , false witness [Ninth Commandment], blasphemies [Third Commandment]”. In other words, taking God’s name in vain.

The Fourth Commandment—observing the seventh day Sabbath—is the one most professing Christians refuse to obey. Most assume that men have the authority to change the Sabbath to whatever day is most convenient.
Yet Christ kept the Sabbath on the seventh day. “And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up: and, as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read” (Luke 4:16). Paul followed Jesus' example. He taught in the synagogues on the Sabbath (Acts 17:2). And not just to the Jews, but also to the Gentiles.  (Acts 13:42, 44). There no evidence that he led them to keep Sunday and there is no evidence that the Jews accused Paul of not keeping the Sabbath indicating that he must have held to the original and only correct day; Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. When correctly translated, Hebrews 4:9 should read, “There remains therefore a keeping of the Sabbath to the people of God.”

Christ also says that He “is the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Heb. 13:8) meaning He will not change now or in the future. New Testament observance of the seventh-day Sabbath is established in Hebrews 4:9.

The last six of the Ten Commandments instruct man on how to love his fellow man. “Honor your father and your mother…You shall not kill. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. You shall not covet…” (Ex. 20:12-17).
Centuries later, Christ said that anyone who wants to enter eternal life must keep these same commandments: “You shall do no murder [Sixth Commandment], You shall not commit adultery [Seventh Commandment], You shall not steal [Eighth Commandment], You shall not bear false witness [Ninth Commandment], Honor your father and your mother [Fifth Commandment]” (Matt. 19:18-19). Christ summarized these as “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” the second greatest commandment (Matt. 22:39).
Years after Christ’s sacrifice (which most religious leaders claim does away with the law), Paul taught these same commandments to Gentiles in Rome. “For this, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, You shall not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Rom. 13:9).In Ephesians 6:2, Paul commanded Christians to obey the Fifth Commandment by honoring their parents. He commanded them to obey the Ninth Commandment: “Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor” (Eph. 4:25). He observed the Tenth Commandment, saying, “I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, You shall not covet” (Rom. 7:7). The Apostle James also warned about the dangers of breaking the Tenth Commandment. “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death” (James 1:14-15).   So how about now? Is there still any confusion in this area? ALL of the Ten Commandments were preached throughout the New Testament and Jesus wants us to follow them all.
No wonder the Apostle John wrote, “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous” (I John 5:2-3).

What are people talking about when they speak of A New Commandment?

After all these biblical proofs, some will still believe that the Ten Commandments were abolished and some claim that the Ten Commandments were “replaced” by a “new commandment”. But what is this “new commandment”? Does keeping the new commandment then negate keeping the Ten Commandments?
In John 13:34-35, Christ said, “A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, if you have love one to another.”In Matthew 22:37-39, Christ said we must love our neighbors as ourselves. Christ however gives us  a new and higher standard to live by—to love others as Christ loves us not what we think constitutes loving our neighbours as ourselves. Only those with God’s Holy Spirit dwelling in them can love people the way Christ does. “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his…For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Rom. 8:7-9, 14). This is talking about true BELIEVERS!When Christ said, “love one another, as I have loved you,” He was talking to His disciples. They, later on, were baptized and received the Holy Spirit (see Acts 2), becoming the New Testament Church. Only true BELIEVERS–those with the Spirit of God in their minds—can hope to love others as Christ does. Carnal man cannot.But what about the “new commandment” in I John 2:8? “Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in Him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shines.” What is it that is both “true in Christ” and in BELIEVERS?The answer is in John 16:13-15, It is the Holy Spirit—the “Spirit of truth”—that is “true in Christ,”. This same spirit sets God’s people apart from the world.  The Holy Spirit empowers a BELIEVING mind, enabling us to love the way Christ and God do. Without it, no human being can perfectly fulfill I Corinthians 13:4-8: “Love suffers long, and is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up, does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never failsIn II John 5-6, John wrote, “And now I beseech you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto you, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, That, as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.”

After some research,some soul searching and asking God for guidance it is crystal clear this scripture does not replace or do away with the Ten Commandments. Instead, it reinforces them.

The Ten Commandments existed before Moses from the time of Creation. All ten were taught throughout the New Testament. They are still in effect today.

God Bless xo
